The Mirror

There's a girl staring back at me
In the mirror that I see
Want to live so that girl won't want to take
Back what she did yesterday
I want to like what I see in the mirror
When I look back on what I've done before

I see what the mirror reflects
Can't see how long I have left
What do I do with the time that I have
To make my reflection glad
I won't forget when I look in the mirror
What's done today will affect tomorrow

Can't be who you want me to be
Just that girl that you can see
Say, do you like what you see in the glass?
Are you letting life fly past?
Live like you won't live to see the morning
So you will not have to regret a thing

Your reflection can never lie
What if tomorrow we died?
Would we be able to face the mirror?
With the things we've been fighting for?
We must prepare for tomorrow today
